Benefits of Membership at MCA Camplands

Moraine Camplands Association (MCA) is a non-profit corporation that is owned by the members of the campground.  When you purchase in MCA, you are not buying property.  You are buying a membership to the association and the right to use a designated lot.  The lot is owned by the association, but you make any changes to the lot within association guidelines and you can use the lot as long as you pay the annual membership dues.  As a member of Moraine Camplands Association, you will receive the following benefits.

 

  • You have perpetual use of your lot.

  • You have access to all facilities and activities in the campground.

  • As a member, you have voting privileges and may serve on the Board of Directors.

  • Since you do not own the property, there are no property taxes.

  • Water, sewage and electricity are provided with your annual membership dues.  However, there are additional assessments for extras such as electric golf carts, air conditioners and an additional refrigerator.

  • All maintenance issues regarding the utilities and common facilities are the responsibility of the campground

  • The membership maintains its value and can be sold at a future time.
